Project 04 Sketching on Toned Paper

Sketching on tone paper is an awesome traditional technique that transfers well into a digital format.
On this assignment we will cover some basics of this technique and how to apply it towards a digital format. We will cover tips, approaches, and discuss specialized techniques on how to work with toned paper.

-Assignment Guidelines (on 11"x17" paper)-

All drawings must have the following techniques:
- Underdrawing
- Black Pen Line Art
- Grey Marker Values
- White Pen Line Art
- Usage of Vanishing Lines, Implied Lines
- Usage of Textures
- Backdrop BG/Framing Device

Group 1- Start with smaller props- (ex. Flower pot, crates, suit cases, back packs, rocks.)

Group 2-  Vehicles- (ex. cars, tanks, airplanes, locomotives, etc.)

Group 3-  Organics 01 (Ex. Plants, trees, etc.)
